Cassioli, Interroll’s partner for many years, took part in the summit with meetings, workshops and one-to-ones that provided important insights, as well as meeting new professionals and companies in the sector.
The event, which took place at the beautiful Hotel Cavalieri in Rome, involved 70 companies from all over the world, all protagonists in the field of automation.
The event included alternated debates, conferences, speeches and workshops focusing on sharing ideas and opinions on the opportunities, challenges and new growth prospects for the event, looking at issues such as innovation, digitization and new frontiers of industrial automation.
Introduced by Interroll’s CEO Paul Zumbühl, the event continued with the thoughts of Bart Friederichs – CEO of TBWB, and Richard Nepgen – Managing Director of Neptek, who spoke about their partnership after meeting at the ROI Global Summit in 2017.
Yan Lefort, Sales Director of Sauber Motorsport AG and Christoph Reinkemeier and Jens Strüwing from Interroll, spoke about the new growth challenges, both for individual companies and for the Global Summit itself, which over the years has always confirmed its status as an important platform for sharing and a business opportunity for all participants.
There was no shortage of time dedicated to human resources, talent development and thinking outside the box, the fundamental principals of which were illustrated by Anders Indset, business philosopher, and Shivvy Jervis, tech futurist and broadcaster.
The Global Summit in Rome was played a key role in the long-term programme strongly pursued and supported by Interroll.
The resulting in-depth and open exchange of experiences was not exclusively aimed at the conclusion of commercial agreements, but first and foremost at creating a community of professionals and companies for the development and growth of the industrial automation sector, where Cassioli has always been a leading player and a strong supporter.
