Picking Bays with RGV

Cassioli’s picking bays served by RGV (Rail Guided Vehicle) automatic shuttles represent the ideal picking solution for the “goods-to-man” approach. Sorting precedes the actual picking stage: the load units from which pick up is made are automatically sorted at fixed picking stations by a system of SLS shuttles moving around a closed loop. Each picking island can be associated with one or more orders being filled. The RGV system can also manage recovery of the shipping unit and subsequent transfer to the loading area.
