Ceramics Intralogistic Division

Ceramics Intralogistic Division is the Cassioli division aimed at developing specific solutions for the handling, manipulation and storage of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products such as slabs, tiles and sanitary ware. In today’s global market, the need for companies to increase the efficiency, flexibility and productivity of their plants and the intralogistics systems that serve them is increasingly strong. Cassioli’s innovative automatic systems allow for the handling and storage of a large variety of materials in an accurate and safe manner, optimizing spaces, guaranteeing speed and precision of operations and reducing the risk of physical damage to the goods. Within our systems you will find automatic warehouses with stacker cranes, manipulators with different gripping devices, LGV and SLS automatic trolleys, conveyors and numerous other devices that allow rapid and safe transport, improving productivity and significantly reducing management costs.

Warehouses with stacker crane

Cassioli automatic warehouses with stacker cranes are state-of-the-art storage systems that allow handling of load units using stacker cranes on rails.

Depending on requirements, these stacker cranes can be equipped with a single or double-column frame and different gripping systems for picking up and storing inside the shelving.

The stacker cranes carry out goods-in, placing and goods-out operations guided by Cassioli’s proprietary management software, which coordinates all the movements of the stacker crane and allows quick and efficient management of the entire automated warehouse.

Manipulator

Manipulators are supplied with gripping tools designed for each specific application, allowing products to be handled quickly and safely.

The manipulator can be applied in different configurations and the manipulator control system allows the interface with different types of external devices.

Cassioli manipulators, dedicated to the world of ceramics, can be used both in the pick and place phase from the warehouse and in the preparation of orders for shipment.

Automated vehicles

Cassioli AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) automated guided vehicles are an extremely flexible solution for handling semi-finished and finished products and an excellent alternative to conveyors and manual trolleys. AGV systems guarantee total integration between the high-level information system used by the customer (Customer, Host, departmental system, SAP, etc.) and other management systems or devices, such as forklifts, robotic areas, palletizers and automatic warehouses. Cassioli’s AGV automatic vehicles differ significantly in term of weight and load size, single or multiple load, type of load and navigation system: Cassioli will develop the best solution, based on the customer’s needs, whatever the size and type of load to be moved.
