Cassioli designs the most suitable systems for operation of complete assembly or serving lines for manual or automatic workstations.
As a Manufacturer or System Integrator, Cassioli offers customers complete systems with any devices, such as lifts, turning machines, rotary tables, manipulators, robots, zero-gravity lifters, palletizers, depalletizers, automated transfer machines, pushers, tightening systems, tapers, shrink-wrapping machines, labelling machines and much more. Cassioli production lines are modular and easy to configure and can be connected with idle or motorized roller conveyors or other types of conveyors, creating fully customizable production and assembly lines. The lines can also be integrated with automated warehouses, picking bays and automated vehicles for the handling and serving of finished products and components.
Our services include layout design and process simulation, plant installation and personnel training. Proprietary software coordinates the operation of all segments, ensuring full-line integration with proprietary IT systems of the customer.
With years of experience and expertise in this field, Cassioli is a partner of leading companies in the most diverse industrial contexts, such as the household appliance, pharmaceutical, automotive, food sectors and industry in general.
Careful analysis of the assembly process identifies the primary operations and their relationships and timings. This allows assignment of functions to workstations through aggregation of different primary operations based on the expected productivity targets for the line, flexibility and compactness of the station, specific automation of particular phases and balancing of the entire assembly line.
Many years of experience in the sector allows Cassioli to design tailored solutions capable of verifying the correct functioning of household appliances and much more. The systems offered are able to detect and record all typical product parameters to be verified during functional testing (power draw, temperature, noise, rotating group operation, circuit leakage testing and other important values). Analysis of changes in the recorded values provides the test outcome.
The implementation of each CASSIOLI line is the result of a careful analysis of flows in terms of spatial location and time distribution imposed by the production schedule and the planning of supplies to the individual stations. A complete understanding of the flow of collector parts and components/serving kits define the configuration of the line with important repercussions on the functionality of the handling system.
Robotic areas for assembly lines are automated stations for assembly, end-of-line systems for palletizing, highly automated production phases and other applications using a robot in the assembly line. Utilizing single-line/multi-line Cartesian coordinate robots, we can guarantee high performance in terms of cycle time, loading capacity, and management of multiple codes.
The way materials are replenished at the workstations (push or pull type), the physical characteristics of the collector part, the dimensions of the handling support, the dimensions and layout of the area, and the flexibility and production capacity required by the line all greatly influence the configuration of the material handling system. Based on functional needs, assembly lines may include sorting devices and/or bypass and decoupling buffers for workstations. Line layout design defines the form and ultimately the flow of the assembly line.
