PLC CONTROLS ENGINEER

Cassioli USA is seeking a highly motivated PLC Controls Engineer to grow its Birmingham’s office Software Department team. The ideal candidate takes pride in his/her analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills. The candidate will work in a vibrant environment where innovative and high-quality work is encouraged, noticed, and rewarded. He / She will work as part of a small, close-knit team working on implementing infrastructure changes and developing multiple tools to aid and increase efficiencies in Corporate processes and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR the equivalent combination of education and/or years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant project experience working with controls and automation equipment related to development, programming, debugging, as well as, support and troubleshooting.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, automation controls and Touch Screen ROCKWELL (KOP-Structured Text).
  • Working proficiency of network systems, including Profinet, Profibus, ProfiSafe and ENET IP.
  • Ability to develop applications using computer programming skills, database (SQL) skills, and web application skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of driver technology of Allen-Bradley, Lenze, Siemens, Telemecanique.
  • Knowledge of standard components as Encoder, Barcode reader, and R-Fid

  • Working closely with other PC and PLC Programmers as a team to accomplish larger missions
  • Ability to be a self-starter
  • Must be able to work under pressure while providing exceptional customer service
  • Must be able to work closely with team members and independently
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Must have ability to travel to support business needs
  • Flexibility in the schedules and working locations
