Case study Prodeman

The Company

Prodeman is a family company in the sector of food specialty that produces, selects, processes and exports peanuts.

The company was founded in 1984, and today Prodeman employed about 550 people. In 2019 Prodeman yearly revenue was around US$ 100.44 million.

CUSTOMER NEEDS

To optimize the storage of the production, Prodeman requested Cassioli to make a semiautomatic system, dedicated to the storage of the final products and raw material palletized.

The principal request of the customer was a solution in which provides minimal space in the factory and works side by side with the employees, reducing the risks and the possibility of accidents. The plant of Prodeman in Cordoba, Argentina, was involved in this process of automatization.

The Cassioli solution

The reduced spaces and the necessity of a solution coexisting with the human operator, led Cassioli to develop a system capable of storing pallets with a high level of density. Cassioli installed 2 iSats to make the semiautomatic storage, where they will handle up to 1554 pallets.
