To reach this goal, the study takes into account, in the greatest detail required for the purpose, all the factors that concur in the definition of the investment size.
The feasibility study is composed of several, inter-connected parts, which lead to an overall plant project, which defines all the necessary technical and organizational choices.
The final project is not limited to a single CASSIOLI system, but aims to study, size and organize the plant globally:
- The single, specific devices that make up the manufacturing and distribution system;
- The service system equipment (utilities);

Subsequently, sophisticated process simulation systems are used to verify plant operation and system integration, well before they are realized.
CASSIOLI’s software can accurately simulate the most complex handling system and flows during operation, be it manual or continuous. The simulator brings significant benefits during the design of a new system of plant, when optimizing the performance of an existing system or if an existing system if modified by adding new sections.
Testing the operation of complex systems draws the attention non only of plant engineers, but of the customer as well, because it provides the opportunity for an advance evaluation of the effects of given choices, for example, in terms of traversing time, production capacity, or stock and plant sizing.
