SLS Multi Load

The maximum handling capacity of an SLS system is reached with the Multi Load configuration: the shuttles can simultaneously handle two or more pieces to maximize handling flow. The single loads carried by the shuttles may be loaded or unloaded at the same in/out point (for example, an AS/R infeed or outfeed or an assembly line station) or they may have different destinations. Connection to the various workstations may be carried out in one of various ways, as the shuttles are all equipped with special handling devices that allow for load unit rotation, translation and lifting.
