LINE LAYOUT

Materials supply modality to the workstations (push or pull), physical characteristics of the colletting piece, handling base size, room volumetric chracteristics, flexibility and manufacturing capacity needed by the line, influence heavily the handling system's configuration. Based on specific functional needs, assembly lines include sorting devices, by-pass and decoupling buffers for the stations.

Layout design defines the shape of the assembly line. Stations' serving type (monocomponent or push/pull kit), automation level for picking systems (batch picking or order picking modalities), continuous or discontinuous working rate, define completely different line layouts. CASSIOLI can satisfy every customer's specific needs, offering fixed-rate assembly lines or endowed with interoperable reservoires, snake-shaped lines, U-shaped main conveyor systems with external stations, double ring lines, horizontal-central continuous conveyor lines, systems with cart-served station (linear route) or shuttle (ring routes - SLS CASSIOLI) or automatic guidance carts (free routes - LGV CASSIOLI).

The design of every single workstation is carried out with maximum care. Automatic workstations (antropomorphic robots or custom automated systems), as well as manual stations, are designed to warrant the maximum system functionality and potentiality possible and the best safety and ergonomy conditions for your personnel. Different, intelligent choices for every commodity group to ensure maximum productivity.
