Furniture - Furnishings
CASSIOLI boasts excellent competence in the furniture industry. Our know-who in the “Wood” sector dates back to the 70’s, when the Sienese company used to supply the first drying carts to local companies in the Val who manufactured furniture and door and window frames. Compared to back then, CASSIOLI has enormously increased know-how in this commercial sector: today, our systems represent technologically avant-garde solutions that can meet the modern requirements of in the furniture industry.
The systems we offer our come complete with any device required, such as elevators, tilters, rotary tables, manipulators, robots, zero-gravity lifters, palletizers, depalletisers, transferors, pushers, screwdrivers, tapers, filming machines and labeling machines, etc. Beside every "stand alone" application relative to a furniture manufacturing or assembly station, CASSIOLI can provide full “turnkey” systems, such as assembly lines, vertical buffers, horizontal dynamic buffers for panels, automated stocking systems for panels, automated order preparation, automated carts for stack handling, robotic islands for assembly or machining, etc.
The FAST and M1 systems call for particular attention, in that they represent a concrete answer to the current needs of furniture manufacturers. In recent years, technologies have evolved, production processes have changed, but increasingly, stocking and order formation still represent a “critical” node for modern furniture companies. The F.A.ST. (Furniture Automatic Storage) system is an innovative solution proposed by CASSIOLI. The unique characteristics of the system allow for performance levels that are unthinkable with any other traditional storage system. Even the most incredulous of specialized operators need to observe the system for just a few minutes, during industrial fairs such as Xylexpo or Ligna (or the multiple application in leading companies in this sector) to convince themselves of the enormous potentials of this solution. The innovative operating logic based on just-in-time sharing of production levels and the original pack holding device (pieces of furniture that are assemble, unassembled and sold) are features that make F.A.ST. a unique system with an international patent. The solution permits the automation of that segment of the production process between the production lines and vehicle loading (customer order formation, including delay management). In this way, internal logistics expenses may be reduced and service levels increased, even in the best organized companies. (For greater details, click on the links present on this page.)
Instead, the M1 system represents a specific solution for panel handling, which can solve a series of handling and storage issues that arise in the presence of "batch one". (For greater details, click on the links present on this page.)
