The effective management of baggage transfer and screening is a top priority for airports worldwide. The baggage must be moved, handled and controlled with accuracy, speed and safety. CASSIOLI Airport Division is the answer to this challenge. The new partner in airport logistics has been created by the union of CASSIOLI, a company leader in the field of handling and industrial automation, and RHS, a company specialized in Baggage Handling Systems with experience gained in over 70 installations in 40 airports.



The full range of BHS products and the attitude to innovation, quality and improvement of manufacturing processes, enable solutions of CASSIOLI Airport Division to meet the needs of modern airports. The new division is able to design, simulate, develop, start-up and maintain systems for sorting and checking baggage.



Check-in systems, inclined or plain carousels for baggage delivery, belt conveyors, integration of stations for the x-ray or explosive control, diverting systems, continuous or "point to point" sorters: CASSIOLI Airport Division is able to offer all the necessary elements for high speed automated sorting systems.
Each solution comes from the joining of two specific skills. First, CASSIOLI Airport Division leverages decades of experience and technological know-how developed by CASSIOLI in the field of automation in industrial transport: modern systems for material handling, Management and PLC software for reliable flows control and identification systems with RFID technology for maximum accuracy in terms of tracking.

The other key component is the acquisition of skills gained in more than 15 years by RHS company in the field of airport logistics as, for example, the "friction drive" propulsion, the adoption of extruded aluminum profiles and the use of high strength plastics (high fire resistance and low smoke propagation material). All equipment is designed with the aim of achieving the best balance between costs, efficiency and reliability.
